Down-hole Sensor
CS GAS manufactured down-hole sensors (“DHS”) measure pressure at the pump location, enabling accurate water level data and pump protection. The down-hole sensor complement’s the CS GAS ProSkid, if the water level drops below the pump level then the system will stop the pump and prevent it from running dry and burning out. This safety system lowers the total cost of the wells operation.
The DHS’s hard wearing body is constructed of 316 stainless steel. Sensors ranges include 0 to 2000 psi (13790 kPa), with a burst pressure of 4000 psi (27580 kPa) and can withstand an impact pressure of 2500 psi (17230 kPa). The table below details the standard pressure rating and the appropriate cable lengths.
The cable length may be customised as per the depth of the well. The standard cable is available in lengths up to 1,500 meters and the armoured cable up to 1,200 meters.
