Tubing Centralisers

Down-hole data provides valuable information for the efficient control of wells. Tubing centralisers are essential in the prevention of cable damage, providing positive centralisation in straight and deviated well bores. The tubing centraliser design is based on a dual purpose solution, to protect the control line (down-hole sensor cable) and to centralise the tubing string by limiting the tubing movement in PC Pump applications.

This robust design utilises a hinged arrangement to allow simple and fast fitting to tubing at mid joint or at the coupling. The design incorporate a dual size cable recesses to suit standard and armoured cables. Advantages of the compact design include easier install/uninstall therefore safer fitting. In the event of a well work-over the tubing centraliser may be re-deployed.

The tubing centralisers are manufactured from a diene rubber compound which is moulded over steel plate shell which reinforces the hinging and the pinning mechanisms. This material is suitable for both petroleum well and water well applications. CS GAS will supply custom size specifications for specific applications or defined tolerances levels.

It is important to confirm the correct casing specification; the casing wall thickness may vary with the casing grade. Confirmation will ensure CS Gas confirms the centraliser is within required tolerance levels.
